Fur Babies & Fab Hair

Hey Y’all! I recently had the honor of attending the Woodford Humane Society Summer Gala held at Keeneland with some of my favorite KY bloggers. Thank you to Joe Graviss for purchasing a table for us at this amazing event and for being a long time supporter of The Woodford Humane Society. Thank you Marie Pullen of @bluegrassblog for the invite! This annual event benefits the Humane Society and is so vital for providing much needed care to the precious fur babies!

This event had a HUGE silent auction, live auction, a diamond raffle giveaway, champagne, delicious food, and great company!

The Woodford Humane Society is funded by 100% donations. They recently had issues with their huge industrial sized washing machine. They had to take dogs toys, blankets, and towels to a traditional washing machine which is time very time consuming and inefficient. The Woodford Humane Society is in dire need of a new industrial capacity washing machine, which is approximately $15,000 dollars. Although laundry is not the most exciting thing, it is a very important aspect in providing a clean environment.

You can donate to the Woodford Humane Society online! OR you can Volunteer! I want to do MORE in my community. What causes are you passionate about? Where in your community do you invest your time, money, and heart? These sweet fur babies need a loving home! I encourage you to check out Woodford Humane Society.

I want to give a HUGE thank you to my sweet new friend Lauren Prather, who owns a gorgeous salon in Versailles called All That is Lovely Beauty Boutique. Lauren gave me a beautiful updo for the Gala! I loved it so much. I did not want to take it down! She is truly invested in her craft and her clients.

Lauren studied at Paul Mitchell and she lived in Louisville for years before moving here. Her new salon in Versailles,KY is stunning. It sits in a Victorian building, right above Spotz Gelato! Take a peak at the pics below. Call and book with Lauren today! I can’t wait to see her again next month for some highlights!
