Kentucky Blogger Awards 2019

November 16, 2019 in Blog - No Comments

Hey Yall!

‘Tis the season for good food, friends, and gratefulness. Recently I had the opportunity to attend the first ever Kentucky Blogger Awards! This event was a celebration and end of the year bash for local KY bloggers. I was honored to be nominated for the “Rising Star” award, which was to recognize new and upcoming bloggers in Kentucky.

The venue was absolutely stunning and made me want to find a hubby ASAP! If you live in Central Kentucky, check out The Galerie in Versailles, KY. This historic venue hosts weddings, corporate events, and even a princess ball. The Galerie was styled by Danielle of Octane Designs. Danielle went above and beyond with the centerpieces, signage, and overall elegant styling. Check out the cute coasters we got to keep as party favors!

The fabulous event was planned and coordinated by Aisha of Kentucky Bloggers and Marie Pullen of Bluegrass Blog. Marie and Aisha worked hard to make this day happen and I’m so grateful for them both! Our hearts and bellies were so full at the event, thanks to Sweet Lilu’s catering. I loved the mini hot browns, charcuterie board, and bourbon balls. We mingled, ate, and drank amazing wine from Wildside Winery.

Special thank you to Kinga Mnich for capturing detail photos from this gorgeous day. I’m so glad it was perfect weather and she was able to get some group shots! This event also had a fun photo booth from The Big Event Photos. I loved putting on props and being able to take home some cute pics!

I was so happy when Aisha¬† announced Sass in the Bluegrass as the winner of the “Rising Star” award. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I love the fantastic group of bloggers that are located here in Kentucky. I’m thankful for all of the support I’ve received, since starting this blog in March of 2019. Thank you!
